Our oil paint collection brings together student and professional-grade options — from well-known brands to our exclusive Wallace Seymour range, hand-ground in the Yorkshire Dales from the finest pigments available.

Wallace Seymour Artist Oil Colours are our flagship line — made in small batches in Settle, North Yorkshire, with no fillers, driers, or extenders. Each colour is ground to the maximum pigment load the binder will hold, giving exceptional tinting strength and colour depth. We are one of only a small number of independent retailers stocking Wallace Seymour, and we carry the full range from Series 1 through to Series 8.

For students and those starting out in oils, we also carry accessible ranges that offer good quality without the professional price point. Oil paints work on canvas, board, and paper prepared with gesso, and can be thinned and extended with a range of mediums and solvents — all of which we stock alongside our paints.
